These are the fifth pair of VANS that I've purchased for my dd, so we are obviously huge fans of VANS. The other pairs were slip on and varying canvas thickness depending on the season. The summer VANS are a thinner canvas and more flexible than the traditional. This year I really wanted to buy her black or red lace up traditional VANS for winter. Could not find red, but found black. Love them!! VANS run big by about a full size in the children's. My dd wears a 9 in VANS right now, but a 10 was the closest available. She should be wearing these by January. Can't wait!

I have been wearing Vans for many many years, now my kids are wearing them. These were a Christmas present but I already know she will love them.
