Fantastic shoe

I purchased this shoe in the walnut leather. It was my first pair of AEs, but I have since gotten quite a few more pairs. I was actually not even looking to buy shoes when it caught my eye in the store. It has been an incredibly comfortable shoe right out of the box. Not entirely sure how to polish burnished shoes, but I get compliments all the time on them. So it has definitely been worth it.

Wow what a shoe. This shoe is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. I bought the light brown color and they look great with navy blue pants. The style is not over the top like a mall shoe. This has real class and it breaks in very fast. The leather is softer and more supple than my other Allen Edmonds shoes. Overall I love them and the finish was worth the weight. Additionally, the matching belt make the shoe a winning combo

The epitome of style and comfort

I own a pair of Flatiron and i can tell you that it is the most comfortable dress shoes i have ever own. I have extra wide feet and the E width is absolutely perfect. I wear them with jeans, grey and navy dress slacks and have received many compliments from my peers. After a nice shoe shine they are back in business....
Now I need to get the black and boot version and i'm good to go!

Comfort and Style all in one!

Recently picked up a pair of these in black to attend a ball during Mardi Gras as well as add a nice pair of black shoes to my wardrobe. These are my second pair of AE's, the first being a pair of Weybridge's that my wife gave me as a wedding present. I wore them for the first time from 8 pm to 5:30 am and my feet never hurt once. The saleslady at the store was great in helping me find the right size. I normally wear a 10.5 but a 10 was perfect in these. They do run a bit long. Looks wise they are a very slick looking shoe while still traditional enough to wear with any suit. I have really been taken with AE since my first pair and plan on adding a couple more pairs to my collection. With their recrafting service and classic good looks, I can't see why any guy couldn't survive on them exclusively for their dressy shoe collection. Thanks AE. Now I know why so many have come to rely on you for their shoe and shoe care needs.
