So sad :(
PostedJanuary 15, 2015
I wanted this boot last year, it sold out quickly and then this year I had to stalk the waiting list for months before it was available and when I finally received it, it was too small and 'meh" for me. I ordered half a size larger based on the reviews, but it was too small in the ankle, so it was really hard to get the shoe on. Also, I don't know if it's because I had such high expectations from waiting so long, but I found it must to be 'meh'. It looked perfect for someone that did duck hunting.

Love the Boot! BUUUT…
PostedJanuary 13, 2015
I really do love these boots. Very good looking and surprisingly warm (especially for Minnesota's cold winters). However, I can only wear yoga pants or tights with these boots. I am around 5'4 and about a 27 jean size and calves are not enormous (though athletic) And they are still tight. I would definitely buy a second pair if they came in wide calf… I just can't imagine these fit a large percentage of the female population.
ALSO. I am usually a 6.5 or 7 in shoes. I ordered a 7.5 in these boots and they fit perfectly for me. I tried on my friend's 6.5 (she is normally a 6.5 shoe size and petite) and I couldn't get my foot into the boot and then had a heck of a time getting it off. There may have been some sweating and swearing involved.
If you are shorter, have very thin legs, and rarely have issues zipping up riding boots, I think you'll be fine with your regular shoe size in these boots. I think the main reason for going up a 1/2 size or full size is due to calf room and getting your foot in.

Prosbest boot ever
I totally lucked out on getting a pair of these on sale. Did get a half size up and am able to wear them with lighter and heavier socks. These boots go through rainy fall days (no wet feet at all), deep snow (no snow gets down the boot), and mud season. They are very easy on-off once you start wearing them. I have a very narrow calf size, but wear these with jeans tucked all the way in. On one of the boots the bottom strap came undone, but a local cobbler fixed it right up. I am frequently asked about these boots when I wear them.

Proswarm, comfortable, versatile
I was looking for a cold weather boot that didn't scream SNOW BOOT, and this was a good choice. It's plenty warm, but it is a boot I can wear all day like a riding boot. And the color I got (Shale) goes with my entire wardrobe. I have been wanting these for a long time and was thrilled when I got an email from Nordstrom that they were back in stock in my size. My only issue is that they are hard to get off, but I am hoping that will improve as they get broken in.
