Cutest boot ever - sizing is tricky

This is the cutest boot ever and I would love to own it. It isn't carried in either of my local Nordstrom, so I tried on the similar boot in brown/black color combo for size and ordered these boots. Unfortunately, the boot I received would not even go on my foot. If only I had pictures of myself laying down on the floor to try to pull the boot off after trying to fit my foot in and getting it stuck just where the ankle turns. As you can guess, I had to return them. I might try again and order a larger size because these really are such cute, cute boots.

LOVE THESE SHOES!

Prosperfect.
Buy them. Seriously. These are the cutest shoes, and they don't make my size 11 feet look bigger than they already are (which sometimes happens with Sorel boots).
Regardless, they are warm, they are stylish, and the compliments you will receive will have you smiling.
On a side note, like most sorel boots, order up a size. So whir my size 11 feet fit in a size 11 boot, they were much comfortable with a pair of socks in the size 12.

disappointed at first

I ordered the boots and they must've slipped through inspection so I sent them out for a new pair. The first pair had an opening through the liner and an area where two leather pieces met would rub against my ankle. Luckily, the second pair had no defects. The boots are difficult to put on, but once they're on, they fit perfectly around the foot, true to size. I'm guessing that the leather will stretch a bit? I do love the boots because they're cute and durable but originally i was disappointed.

Perfect all weather boots

These boots are comfortable, stylish and completely weather proof. I live in the Seattle area, and they've already been through a downpour. I have been looking for the perfect all weather boot for some time - this is the first pair that is actually a beautiful boot. I bought the Nutmeg and get loads of compliments. I am around 5'5" and these are so flattering. They don't cut me off at the knee and actually make my legs look longer. I did go up about a half size as they are a bit narrow. They look great with skinny jeans, leggings and tights. Have I mentioned I love these boots?
