This is absolutely excellent at removing chlorine and other minerals from the hair. The trick here is to use a clarifying shampoo at least your first time using this. This will remove all of your prior chlorine and mineral buildup so you have a "clean slate" to start using your new shower filter. This is very easy to install. I installed this filter following the online video instructions on the T3 website and it was very easy. However, water is shooting out from it. It's not from where I connect the filter to the pipe on the wall, nor from where I connect the filter to my shower head, but from the two "pieces" of the filter. The small "pipe" where the filter connects to your wall has a slight swivel piece that then attaches to the larger filter piece. That is where it is leaking. I saw a few reviews on a major online retailer where this has been an issue. That said, I wrapped a washcloth around the leak so I could at least get a couple of showers in to see how the water quality was. I can't say that I see tremendous difference. Maybe a little, but not much. I think that I will try once to exchange it for one that hopefully doesn't leak.

Noticed an obvious difference in the quality of the water almost immediately. It's weird but I would describe it as feeling softer and it definitely didn't smell as much like chemicals. If you live in Los Angeles this is a must have to keep your hair and skin healthy and soft. Absolutely worth the money.

I love the T3 shower heads they seem to work great my hair color stays longer & my skin feels softer. Harsh water is the worst for anyone's hair and skin this does the trick.
