Light comfortable shoe

These are my sixth pair of Allen Edmond shoes and boots, and before ordering them I noticed these are imported, so I was reluctant to purchase. I was looking for something less formal but still something that looked nice and that I could take with me on vacation and use daily. I was not disappointed at all. These are quite soft and lightweight and are very comfortable. Upon close inspection, one can see slight differences in the spacing between the outer decorative layers of leather between the two shoes, however, while wearing them one cannot notice any difference. Really, you have to look very closely. I think these are a perfect casual shoe, that continues the Allen Edmond's tradition of quality shoes at a fair price.

2nd pair of these shoes - I love e them

I purchased a pair of these same shoes about 3 years ago. I wear them as my daily casual / dress shoe. They're casual because they're blue with contrasting stitching but kind of dressy because they're wingtips, material snd craftsmanship are great quality. I wore my first pair so often, too often in the rain, and danced in them too often on pavement, to the point that they got a little ragged. They're still nice in this shape but I felt it was time to upgrade to another pair. I tried several other Allen Edmonds shoes, purchasing them online without seeing them in person, and I wasn't as happy with their style as I am with these. These have a nice funky quality to them.

I've rec'd more compliments on this shoe than all others combined

I've been wearing Allen Edmonds shoes for decades. There's at least 8 pairs in my closet right now. For all those years, I have a hard time remembering spontaneous shoe compliments. I've gotten at least 10 with these shoes, several from complete strangers. I always wear an 11.5e (or 11.5ee which is harder to find these days, but 11.5eee is too wide). I need a shoe horn to get these 11.5e's on, but once they're on they fit fine.
Good quality durable leather. There are some paste wax polishes out there that perfectly match this color. But while I wear these at least once a week, I haven't had to polish them ever (several months). The polish remains unopened.

I wear these shoes regularly when traveling for work, walking miles/day through airports and cities. They are versatile (business/pleasure), stylish, and incredibly comfortable.
