These are very nice shoes and very distinctive, and draw compliments. Good for Fridays with blue jeans, maybe a bit too casual for formal business attire.
They run very very narrow, so I was back to the store for an exchange. A EEE is more like a D in AE's other shoes. The point at which the wing tip is stitched to the remainder of the shoe has three layers of leather, so it will not stretch. Thank goodness for Nordstrom customer service.
The heel counter is a bit soft, so you need a shoe horn.
One real problem: how to find a belt to match.

Bought this beautiful show at the sale; great value for the price I paid. Per usual Allen Edmonds; no arch support whatsoever; I'll get around to buying an insert; imagine they will then be perfect. Color is a beautiful deep indigo; great with tans; brown, or the aubergine narrow jeans I wore them with yesterday...

The shoes are an amazing dark Navy. I usually wear a 12 with most shoes but an 11.5 D with Allen Edmonds. With this shoe I needed a 12D. The shoes look and feel great and really pop with the red laces. When this shoe is worn with a darker suit, it can look close to black because the navy is so dark. But when it's worn with a lighter suit, the blue clearly stands out.
