Almost perfect

I love the style of this shoe. Even though I wear an E in Wilbert, these fit me great in D. They do make my feet sweat though. The insole is a very glossy leather over two layers of foam and the sole is a solid piece of rubber. I prefer the traditional leather sole with the thinner Vibram lug - you get little breathing in the mid-sole. Or, at least with Wilbert you get the thick, soft sole (not as stylish, of course) and the poron insole. The insole in these is worst of both worlds. However, it looks like these insoles, although glued in, can still be removed, so I'll probably replace them and enjoy the great look and quality of these. Oh, and the slippery nylon laces stink too - I don't know why they didn't use the same ones they use on the other style shoes.
Overall, I am happy to own these shoes, but I think the Banchory with a lug sole instead of V-tread would be a better shoe.

I was looking for a stylish oxford with a rubber sole. Bought this as an everyday shoe to wear when not in suit and tie. Love the bright dublin tan, which goes well with jeans and khakis. In their first week they took me on a walk around Boston without any problems. The rubber sole is a bit stiff at first, but this is a great shoe. The Lamar belt proves a good match.

Recently picked up a pair of Aberdeen's in dark brown. I love the versatility these shoes offer. Perfect for casual days at work or play. Quality is top notch and while being a little on the stiff side brand new, they feel great right out of the box. They run a little long and narrow but still comfortable. I love the sole as I walk on pavement a lot during the day being in the car business. Too bad they are being discontinued. I could see this one being in my wardrobe for some time.

Excellent Shoes

These shoes were a great buy for the quality they offer. The looks are great, and they were comfortable right out of the box. As a dentist and I am on my feet all day, and besides that I spend about 40 minutes/ day walking to and from my office. The soles are excellent for the snowy winters here in Northeast Missouri.
