The 1460 is the iconic "Doc Marten" boot. It comes with the quality of workmanship and materials that people expect. The 1460 is a huge value for the price!

Absolutely worth it. Wasn't planning on getting Dr. Martens but when I tried it on at the store, I absolutely fell in love and was extremely shocked at how comfortable they were.
I am a size 8 in all shoes and after researching online about Dr. Martens, I decided to go with my size. Unfortunately, size 8 was and looked too big even when I had tied the laces tightly. I exchanged at the store for a 7 and they fit perfectly (a BIT snug but it will stretch out a bit once the shoes are broken in).
I highly recommend that you try it on at the store. However, if you are buying it online, I recommend you going one size smaller unless you have wide feet or if you are willing to wear thick socks with it.
I've been wearing Dr. Martens since I was a kid. Honestly they're amazing. They're extremely comfortable and stylish. I live in sunny San Diego, where it never rains, but when it does I can count on my docs to keep my feet dry and warm. It was time for a new pair and I don't care how old I get, I'll wear them to my grave. You can never go wrong with these.
They fit true to size (US size) and theres enough room for thick socks. If you don't own them, get them.
