it's definitely in with the younger crowd. combat boots are everywhere and dr martens are the perfect pair. although you would have to break them in and can be a painful process to most, there are many alternatives. for example putting a bag of water in your shoe, than freezing it or stuffing it with a lot of news paper.
Docs need some wear in time but be patient! They are crazy comfortable, sturdy and look great!

So far I am liking these boots. At first they take some getting used to because they're painful to break in, but after a while they begin to become very comfortable. I love these shoes so much, they go with almost everything.
