890v4 running shoe
PostedSeptember 21, 2014
Shoes arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Shoes were exactly as pictured on the website. Shoes were very comfortable immediately and also very light-weight. Shoes are proving to be my everyday shoes.

I wear these all the time for long 12 hour work days. Keeps my feet comfy and stress free. A lot of support and very breathable.

New Balance 890v4
PostedAugust 8, 2014
Proscomfortable, light weight, cushioned
I've been running mostly in a pair of New Balance 880v3 and occasionally in a pair of NB Minimus road shoes (20s, I think)that I could just never get accustomed to wearing. It's tough to review a shoe without some comparison, but hopefully that will provide my frame of reference. I'm a 10-15 mile per week runner, averaging 3-5 miles per run / boot camp style workout.
I am absolutely loving this shoe so far (maybe 10-15 miles in#. It is incredibly light weight, almost on par with my minimal shoes. It provides almost as much cushioning as the 880s, which are known for their cushioning. I haven't noticed the drop #8mm I think), so if you're coming from either end of the spectrum, I think you'll be fine.
Con - the tongue is almost comically oversized, and yet, I really haven't noticed it once I'm running. I would not recommend these for trail / gravel, as the indentations in the sole / heel accumulate debris.
If you have a neutral runner looking for a light weight shoe without giving up on cushioning, this is a great shoe.
