Our school requires these for the boys winter uniform. They are great, very sturdy and easy to wear. I will say if the boys drag their toes a lot holes will emerge! But that’s any shoe under a lot of wear and tear. Also Nordstrom had these at a better price than our uniform vendor so that was a plus!
My sons are 4 and 5. I was looking for a versatile cold weather shoe that could be worn for play and dressier occasions. This fit the bill and my little guys love them! They run true to size.
Recently bought these shoes for my 9 year old as a school shoe that complies with our uniform. Very happy with Merrell’s usual quality and construction, look nice but stand up to recess. The “wide” could be a little wider but they stretch enough to pull on. My son likes that they are slip on and go!
