Best pair of shoes with jeans!

The light tan leather works well with jeans and a tan leather or brown leather jacket. The fit and feel of this shoe is great. It is the widest and lightest of all the A & E shoes I have and I like the room it gives in the toe area for 8 1/2 D. Length is also perfect!

Exceptional casual shoe

I could never imagine an AE long wing in casual version made by blue unconstructed leather. The shoe is fantastic. It upgrades any casual look (with jeans, chinos etc). Also, I have to mention that the banchory is very comftable. Finally, it is true to size.

A treat for your feet

I was attracted to this shoe for its dress-up/dress-down versatility. However, I am enamored by this shoe because it is astoundingly comfortable, while also being handsome. As other reviewers state, the leather is much more pliable than in a typical AE dress shoe - this makes it especially comfortable. I have been wearing it with and without socks, and it works well either way. The sole seems more 'springy' than other AE shoes I own that have full leather soles, which might reduce foot fatigue for some. I am very pleased with this purchase, and hope to see more options in this last - my foot has met its match. The brown leather does seem lighter in color than what is pictured on the website - but that is no deal breaker. It looks great.

Extremely Comfortable and Great Looking

I didn't think it was possible for a shoe to be as comfortable (if not more so) as my Neumoks but the Banchory is. Incredibly soft and supple leather with great looks and no break in period. These shoes are more comfortable than some running shoes I've had.
The blue is lighter than pictured which is a good thing, in my opinion. I love the contrast with the lighter color sole and I'm glad the V Tread sole comes with the shoe instead of having to special order it. It's a necessity for where I live and how I use the shoes.
I've had them for a week and, in that limited time, I've already gotten multiple compliments on them. I have to buy large EEE shoes to accommodate my orthotics and I like how this shoe fits perfectly without making me look like a clown. Some shoes like the Neumok (which I like) make your foot appear larger.
