Incredibly comfortable leather, perfect fit, great color contrast (navy/khaki) and design

I have the Sanford, Byron, and now the Banchory; and the Banchory is the best pair of Allen Edmonds I have owned.
The leather is incredibly soft, and the fit is perfect. I have owned tennis shoes that were less comfortable.
The design and color contrast (navy/khaki) is beautiful and goes well with jeans, chinos, and lighter colored or patterned dress pants.
A great shoe to raise your casual wear or add some personality to your business wear.

Could play a game of b-ball in this shoe!

One of the most comfortable shoes I've ever purchased. There's nothing like being able to run to the Metro in your dress shoes and not having your feet ache once you catch the train.

A versatile shoe with exceptional comfort and great looks.

During my search for a somewhat casual yet refined shoe, I narrowed my choices down to the newly released Banchory and the popular Aberdeen. I ultimately chose the Banchory for several reasons.
First, the leather used in this shoe is absolutely soft as butter and requires little break-in. It was remarkably comfortable right out of the box, which can't be said of all shoes in general.
Secondly, I think the striking contrast offered by the lighter colored welt looks terrific. It plays on the casual rough collection nature of the shoe perfectly. Speaking of colors, all three of the leathers offered would look great with a variety of different laces.
Lastly, the rubber tap sole may very well be the most versatile of all soles. While a rubber lug sole is strictly casual and a leather sole is typically looked upon as being more dressy, the rubber tap sole offers the best of both worlds. It looks equally at home with jeans as it does with a pair of slacks, yet with the benefit of extra traction provided by the rubber inlay.
I've had these shoes for several weeks and have worn them often. If you're looking for something extremely versatile, comfortable, and very good looking, I can't recommend the Banchory highly enough. They're fantastic!

Gorgeous shoe with jeans, but colour not the same as online.

This is a beautiful shoe. Incredibly well made and perfect with jeans. Be wary of the colour, however. The navy blue Banchory shown in the display picture on the home page is much lighter and the single product shot is much darker than the actual blue of the shoe.
The actual colour falls somewhere between and is a very pleasant blue.
