I have 7 pairs of AE Shoes. This shoe is a great problem. I have worn it 2 times. Sole is barely noticeable -small scratch on sole. Have this shoe for 1 year-can not wear. Can you help-life long customer

Narrow Heel

This is the WORST AE purchase I have made. The heel on this shoe is so narrow I can barely get it on. The heel itself won't give or stretch. The rest of the show is slightly narrow but overall fine. I thought wearing this shoe a handful of times would help soften and provide a little give-- I was completely wrong. If you are contemplating this purchase do NOT purchase online. Go to a store and see if you have the myriad problems that other customers have before wasting your time and energy.

Avoid this shoe

After trying the Walden shoe and not liking it, I tried the Patriot loafer at the recommendation of the sales representative. I was told it was a much better shoe than the Walden and better quality. The shoe took numerous wears to be a little less painful, but has never felt comfortable. I'm surprised because I have like my other AE shoes (Park Avenue, Kenilworth, and Strand). The leather does not appear to be very good quality and looks nothing like the picture on the website. I've purchased Bass Weejun loafers for a fraction of the price and was much happier.
