ProsArch Support, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight
Like the Toachi 2 but the only reason I bought it was Teva discontinued the original Toachi. That was a great all terrain sandal and the closed toe guard was perfect. This sandal is really just ordinary.

When at home I am always in my Tevas Often when I went out I would wear my Tevas. Now with the Toachi2 I will wear out more often because they look so classy.

Very comfortable Teva. After 11 years, my original pair finally needed replacing. While that is a tall order, and I honestly do not expect this pair to last THAT long, these have been able to take the abuse so far. I have taken them on a couple longer hikes of 12+ miles while carrying my 13 month old on my back, and did not have any problem with fatigue or blisters/chafing (.... on a side note I read reviews for these and noticed a person or two complained of this. I was a little nervous of this, but those people either had a lemon or have ultra-sensitive feet. These Toachi 2 have NEVER given me even the SLIGHTEST problem). The shorter hikes (still with the baby) / casual all-day uses have been extremely comfortable as well. I was concerned that moving from the older traditional style like the Hurricane / Terra Fi to this would irritate my feet, but they have transitioned perfectly. They have A LOT more cushioning in them than my older pair, and my feet do not get tired in them when wearing them all day. While this leads me to believe they might not last a full decade, my feet are definitely more comfortable in them. In two months they've chewed up the rocky Continental Divide, the smokey Appalachian Trail, and every environment in between. The only negative, (and this could a personal problem) is that my feet can sweat and stink if they're on all day long. Other than that, they seem to be perfect.

Toachi's Beat out Keen All Day Long
PostedSeptember 10, 2011
ProsArch Support, Bring back Toachi w Toe, Buy teva every time, Comfortable, Keen's less comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish, Teva is better than Keen
I use the product all around. I wish they would bring back the Toachi with the toe guard. Best hiking shoe I've ever worn, but the Toachi with toe delaminated. Teve replaced it without question, but the toe was no longer available. I bought the Keen sandal and I like it, but it's bulkier, harder to get sand out of and isn't nearly as comfortable to walk in as the Toachi.
