I wear this shoe every day. The pad over the big toe is a bit shorter than the past tevas I've worn, and the shape is a bit different, but these have turned out to be very comfortable. I put a lot of miles on them, so hopefully they will last as long as my previous versions.
My old Tevas had much thicker soles, were heavy, and made my feet smell. These new ones fix all of those. The thinner soles don't affect my hiking comfort. I like these Toachi 2's alot. Can they make them better? Probably, but I can't say how.
I had to return them after several near-slip-and-falls on smooth concrete surfaces. Thin soles made them lightweight -- a good thing -- but also provided less arch and toe support. I found better support in the original Terra Fi.
