I'm replacing my 14 year old Teva Spitfire sandals that have finally worn out and will not grip a slippery boat deck. I used them pretty much exclusively for boating. I tend to really run around on wet boat decks a lot and I really would have liked a siped sole but the Spider Rubber on the Toachi2 seems to grip boat decks quite well and the insole cushion is surprisingly nice. The Toachi 2 is narrower than my old Spitfires so lateral support seems less but overall, a great sandal!

ProsArch Support, Durable, Lightweight
ConsStrap Chafes, Too Stiff
My 4th pair of toachi's. The first pair had drains in the soles and the straps and soles were the most flexible. Still a great value. Beat arch support I've found.
I use these Tevas for daily walking in my hot, humid locale, in the city, on the trail, sometimes on the beach, and even hiking. They keep my feet dry, are very durable, have great traction on wet surfaces/rock,and are secure enough on the feet to hop around on the rocks or take rough trails. Slight chafing on one small spot on the top of my left foot if I walk a lot on one weekend. Generally very comfortable.
