This is the first pair of Teva shoes I've owned. I was kind of up in the air, really hoped for substance over style, and hoped this pair could show off some of that lore I've heard of w/ Tevas. I have a daily commute in Seattle that's thick: water, rain, snow, ice, etc. I will never, not even once, regret buying these Trail eVents. They keep my balance stable: never slipped w/ the grips, not even on wet metal-covers. My feet have always stayed warm/cool and dry. I have stepped in puddles that almost come to my ankles, spilling into the shoes from the top, but I never give it a thought b/c these Trail eVents literally are waterproof; feet never get hot either b/c of how well the shoes breathe. These shoes are some of the best, if not the best, shoes I've ever owned. I keep looking down after almost six months thinking I've put them through daily, heavy treks, but they still look brand new.

I have been running on trail with these shoes. So far I have been wearing them casually to help break them in. I have put about 6 miles on them running trail. When I first put them on, they were too narrow. I loosened up the laces and walked around town for about a week and they seem to be feeling better.

Great for day hiking or trail running. They're durable, breathable, and provide plenty of traction on all surfaces. I like the added stability of the pods. For backpacking trips I prefer the support of a boot but these have become my "go to" day hikers. Fit is true to size. I've had them for over 6 months, stacked on lots of miles, and they're holding up great. I just bought a backup pair in case they're unavailable for some reason in the future. Wouldn't want to be without them....
