First pair received laced up wore for a day felt good. Noticed the lacing was crooked on the right boot. The eyelets were not aligned. About 1/4 inch difference. Returned for a new pair.
Ordered a replacement pair. These i could not lace tight because they were tight on the upper part of my foot. Wore them loosely laced for a day and were not comfortable. Put them on a few days later and loosely laced. Could not walk in them they were killing the top of my foot. Returned them. No reorder. Bummed.
Own a pair of Normandy and Sturgis boots. Perfect fit. Love them.
Also own a few pairs of A E dress shoes. Never a problem
Value line have no quality control maybe.

It’s the little things at matter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The red laces and the vibram sole are the X factors in this boot. Initially I was hesitant about the laces but they make the boot so much more fun. The vibram sole is nice not because I will choose to go hiking in them but the option is always there. Plus a little extra traction in the ice or snow.
