Great boots

These are great boots. I have over 30 pairs of AE shoes. However, this was my first pair AE boots. I have always worn a 11-1/2 B for years. So, I wondered if the sizing was the same. Took a chance and found they were perfect. The first time I wore them I had the laces too tight. I loosened them up and everything has been working great since. The boots look great and the red laces add a little extra zing. I examined the workmanship closely and found them to be similar with all my other shoes.

Great looking boot. I wear them with jeans and they don’t come off as too proper for jeans. The boots are a few steps up from a roper style cowboy boot I used to wear. Those boots were functional where the Allen Edmonds are classy and functional.
I am having trouble getting the boots to break in but I am sure with more wear and time they will settle in.
I’ve had questions posed asking the reason for the red laces. It never struck me to ask why the boots come with red laces as I bought them but now that my friends and coworkers are asking, can you tell me what the reason for the red laces is?

Awesome Versatile Boot for Dress and Snow

Love these boots! Warm, roomy, easy to break in. They are perfect when you have to wear dress clothes in snowy, wet, or cold weather. Also they look great with jeans. Love the EEE sizing; soft leather lining is comfortable and comforting. Would buy again!

Don't stop making these boots!

I purchased these as a replacement pair for my son at Christmas. He destroyed his first pair, wearing them too much, without a break, no shoe trees, and the leather lining disintegrated, no way to re craft them. I have two pair myself, they are seven years old, and except for a stitch that has pulled loose on the wingtip of the dark brown pair, no issues.
