I wear this with prescription orthoses and they are absolutely terrific boots, Highly recommend them.

I'm not sure if most guys are comfortable spending this much money on a single pair of shoes,but this is my second pair of Allen Edmond shoes, and I must say they are worth every penny. Hands down... like walking on air. TJ

Haven’t had, nor worn these too many times and one area is coming unstitched. The area coming unstitched is near the eyelet where the seam is stitched together. Upon further inspection, I’m not sure they even stitched it properly because I can’t see where any stitching is hanging loose. They are beautiful, comfortable shoes, but I’m so saddened that the quality is so low that they can’t handle being worn a handful of times in an office environment without falling apart. The seem that is falling apart is the seam that had all of the eyelets in it and it’s now two pieces of leather with about a one inch gaping area where the leather has separated. Very sad for an an Allen Edmonds shoe. There is another thing that has always annoyed me about this pair too and it’s that on one boot, one leather part of the shoe was not trimmed properly and the seam looks incredibly sloppy. It wasn’t cut even and the leather curls up a bit after the stitching compared to the other boot, which is cut and sewn correctly. You always hear “you get what you pay for”, when you pay extra to buy quality shoes, but in this case not so much.
