Absolutely fantastic and high quality. So far these have survived the interesting Chicago winter. The fit is extremely comfortable.

A good boot

I really like the color, the quality and was amazed at how lightweight these boots are. I have a high instep so they were a little tight across the top of my foot. I had them stretched and now they fit like a gove. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a boot the blurs the line between dress and adventure.

The Long Branch boots are ready to go right out of the box, just put them on and go walking. American made and demonstrated American quality. Enough said!

Loving these boots!

Bought these as winter boots to get me through a slushy parking lot while looking stylish enough to head right into the boardroom. I opted for the dark brown color and they handle both of these tasks very well. They are not insulated but my feet stay noticeably warmer in these than they do in normal shoes. They do a decent job of keeping my feet dry too although I wouldn't keep them planted in a snow bank for long.
The Vibram sole is quite comfortable but there is no Allen Edmonds branding anywhere. Part of the pleasure of owning a pair of AEs is the occasional props you get from those in the know. Only other minor hitch is the website states the boots come with a pair of secondary red laces. The only laces my boots came with were the red ones. I dig 'em so not an issue for me but it might come as a surprise to someone looking for something more conservative.
All in all, very happy with these boots and no regrets with my purchase decision.
