Looks good but doesn't last

This was my third AE shoe and was hoping it would be my favorite. I love the design and overall aesthetic, but upon wearing a couple of times the sole started to disintegrate fairly easily and the leather shows signs of wear that is not up to par with the quality I've come to expect from AE. I want to love these boots, but after a year of casual wear they stay put in my closet because the sole and leather wore too quickly and I don't think is worth getting them re-crafted.

These have been my go to casual boots for 3 fall/winter seasons. The chromexel is durable and easy to maintain. They are super comfortable and look great.

Beautiful boot for the winter weather.

As a realtor it annoyed me that I would have to wear some ugly boots with my suit/work attire. This boot solved that problem. The red laces are right up my alley...a little flashy. These boots are easy to lace up, which is nice. I have received so many compliments on these boots I am actually surprised. I even had a woman ask where I got them, I told her they make men's shoes only, she said "I don't care, I like them." Wow!
I have been wearing them practically daily for two months now, and can report they are very comfortable. I did encounter a sizing problem when I first purchased them. Every AE dress shoe I have is a 11.5 D, but I had to return those for the 11.5 E that I am wearing while writing this review. The leather is soft and pliable, the sole is rugged enough for minor slush, salt, etc. Easy to maintain.

Comfortable and high-quality boots

I have been using these boots for the last month, and I like how comfortable and high quality all the material are. I bought these shoes in preparation for the cold weather, so far it has been a great investment.
