I am on my feet most of the day, and once these boots were broken in, they rock. It took at least 6 wears to fully stretch them out and break them in and I was a bit nervous at first, second guessing my size. But now they are great and I get a lot of looks too.

Nice looking boot, odd feeling

Boot looks nice - though clunky. Purchased as fall boot because of nice sole.
Felt like I was walking on marshmallows - which is not my preference. It was too soft. This felt odd to me relative to the AE Danite soled boot and shoe I also own. Also felt odd relative to other boots I own.
Returned to ae - so this is not a “time-tested” review.

Great comfortable boot.. The soles wear out quickly but perhaps that is why they are so comfortable. I reconditioned my first pair and when the second set of soles wore out, I ordered my second completely new pair. These are a great everyday winter shoe.

Four years plus and still going

I love this shoe and it shows, as it is well worn. But after 4 years of hard work, walking and abuse they have held up well and remain very comfortable. In fact, I have probably abused them. I waterproof them twice a year generously. They keep my feet dry. They are not insulated so I wear a different boot on really cold days if I am walking through the snow. Sizing seems to match my sizing for other AE shoes.
