Very comfortable for all day wearing

I have a very wide foot and these boots fit perfectly. I've worn them for 12 hours several times and have no complaints. I've used them for motorcycle boots and they work well. They will be my go to boots from here on out. Very well made and very cool boots. If you need boots to fit a wide foot (they're hard to find) then go with AE shoes.

This is my 5th pair of Allen Edmonds and they are great. These shoes/boots will last forever. My first pair were purchased in 1992 and I still wear them weekly. These boots are great for casual work days or weekends.

Disappointed - size matters these are cut too large

Of the 20 + Pairs of AE shoes including 5 pairs of boots this is the second review and only pair I have ever felt were not a good fit and are therefore a poor value. I have a pair of Cascades in 10 1/2 D which I purchased over 5 years ago and expected the 10 1/2 D Longbranch boots to have a similar fit, unfortunately the Longbranch is oversized - they feel and look like floppy rubber overshoes. With a heavy sock the Longbranches look like the examample of a boot that is too big, unlike the Cascade boots which like all of my other Allen Edmonds fit as advertised.

Thank you for your review. It's unfortunate to learn you are having difficulties with the fit. Keep in mind, our shoes are constructed on a wide variety of lasts, and while they are comparable in length from the heel to the widest part of the shoe, they each offer a unique fit. The Cascade we offered a few years ago was made on the 234 and the Long Branch is made on the 511 last which has a fuller, rounded toe. If a shoe feels large based on the contours of your feet, typically adjusting the size or width can help. Importantly, our number one priority is to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase. Comfort straight out of the box

Purchased for a stylish boot to wear with jeans or casual pants. 1st day wearing them all day and feet felt good at the end of the day. 4th pair of AE footwear. Wilbert is still my favorite, but this boot rivals the comfort.
