I bought these for my daughter and she loves them. She didn't mention anything about needing to break them in. Super adorable and not everyone in her class is wearing them!!

Prosversatile, fashionable, edgy, super comfy, worth the effort
Dr. Marten's 1460 boots are my absolute favorite. While they take a lot of time and commitment to break in, once they mold to your feet you will truly not find more comfortable shoes. I have very high arches, so the only place that they were really tough was on the stitching for the instep. I used a shoe stretching solution (1part rubbing alcohol, 3 parts water) and wore them with super thick, fluffy socks for a few days before I even attempted to wear them out of the house. I currently have 4 pairs of the 1460s, and I imagine throughout the years that I will own many more. The cherry red are my favorite color thus far, and they look great with just about everything. When it comes to breaking them in, there is some serious commitment needed, because if you are unsure about them, once you put them on you'll never want to see them again. Don't give up on them! They will be worth the effort! The bouncing soles are the best for comfort. I can wear them all day and night to theme parks and my feet don't feel achey at all.
