I was using just a regular sharpener and it was doing an awful job with my eyeliner. This one works great! I love it!

I am so glad I bought this sharpener, I don't know what makes it different than the other ones I've bought and thrown away over the years but the tip does come out perfect every time. No splinters stabbing you in the eye or tip falling off. So frustrating I usually don't even bother and just wear liquid liner. Trust me this sharpener is amazing especially for so cheap. The little pink cleaning pick that comes with it is nice too but so far I've had no trouble with the tip breaking or anything.
