I have wore the Merrill slip-ons with the suede finish for years in my frequent travels. Even on trails such as the Circuit "W" in Patagonia and the Leaping Tiger Gorge in China, these shoes held up well and were comfortable. Slip-ons work really well when I go temple hopping and frequently take my shoes off.
I have never bought this style before, but with the half year Nordies sale I could not resist buying them for a little more dressier look than the suede ones I travel in.
I won't be traveling overseas in this style though because all the shoeshine guys would be wanting to shine these shoes.

Prosgreat comfort!
Purchased this shoe in both the espresso and black. My husband wore the black pair out to dinner and was in his comfort zone. Totally satisfied. Great look and comfort. Love the tread for a little more rugged look and wear for his work place.
