Mix the two together on your hands and rub onto your body. Faux Tan is the ONLY product that soaks in with my moisturizer and leaves me, not my shaving foam, looking tanned! I'm reading reviews and getting upset! I love this tanner so much... BUT YOU HAVE TO PROTECT THOSE HANDS LADIES! I sit for awhile and just rub in circles, the longer the better. I avoid my knees, ankles, elbows and feet. Yes I see color come off in the shower, but it's just the bronzer pat. The base dye coat is still on my skin just waiting to be built upon. After three layers I give it a rest until I look paddle again. I add a bronzing shimmer powder if I have a special occasion. This is the ONLY tanner for me! Xox

I love to use self tanner in this part of the winter when I need a pick me up and natural tan is months away in Upstate New York. My Original foundation shade is Fairly Medium, or I wear Bare Shell in Bareskin foundation so I am pretty fair. I apply this product after showering, exfoliating and moisturizing at night before bed. It doesn't stain my white sheets, pillowcases or pajamas. I allow the color to develope overnight and shower again in the morning to wash it off. What remains is a nice warm, golden color. I think it makes me look thinner and younger, and it just makes me feel good. I have used this product on my face, too, although I like to use the formula Bare Minerals has developed for the face for a couple of days first because I'm so fair.

Always Ends Up Down The Drain

Maybe I need some personal assistance on applying this product. I have tried over the years to get it right, and it's never happened. No matter how much or how little I use, or whether I use the brush or my hands, or have my husband put it on, I have to wait, not minutes, but at least an hour before putting on clothes. And still it rubs off on my underwear and other clothing. The next morning when I shower, I watch most of it go down the drain, that's after 24 hrs. of applying the product. In fact, the color around my shower drain is now a light brown, and it doesn't come off, wish it worked that well on my body. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I HAVE READ all instructions about exfoliating, etc. Rhonda Caywood Park City, UT
