my skin is very fair, i burn very easily. infact, i have never established a natural tan on my legs in my life! i decided to try Faux Tan Body about a week ago and the results are amazing! the deep tint allowed me to see where it was applied. i had intended to do only my legs, but after seeing the results i applied it all over. Its a natural glow, not "orange" and even in notorious areas like elbows and knees, color appears even and natural. thanks bare escentuals! i'm in love.

Do yourself a favor and buy self tanner at your local drug store instead. It's very obvious a few hours later if you miss a spot. Also, when you're applying it your hands get really orange! It also gives your skin a little bit of a shimmery look (so unnatural!). This stuff is absolutely horrible! Do not use it!

Faux Tan Body Sunless Tanner

Proswarm color, good smell, natural-looking
I bought this sunless tanner because I was frustrated at my lack of color now that Fall is starting up. I was a little nervous, because of the mixed reviews, but I love it! The amber color was a little scary, but it does really help to see where you apply it. It has given me a great color. I especially love how I can apply it to freshly shaved legs and there was no irritation! (I always get bumps on my legs when I apply lotions/creams too soon). This was a big seller for me.
Once you apply and get the color you want, it lasts about a week before you need to apply again.
Tip: Exfoliate your skin before applying!
Using a loofa will do the trick, but it helps prep your skin to be able to absorb all the beautiful color, and will make your tan last longer.
Tip: Use latex/rubber gloves to apply it for a more even color!
I use latex/rubber gloves when applying it because when I first started using it (and I rubbed it in with my bare hands) my palms would absorb a lot of the product, not only staining them, but I had to use more in order to get it on the rest of my body. It also took a little bit of scrubbing to get it all off my palms. Now, when I use the latex gloves, it spreads more evenly, doesn't discolor my palms, and allows me to use more of the product.
I use this in conjunction with the Faux Tan Face Gradual Glow Sunless Tanner.

I've tried many many sunless tanners and this is the ONLY one that works for me! It smells great, goes on very easy and lasts a few days before I need to reapply. Yesterday I received compliments from some ladies. They complemented me on my tan and I couldn't help but share that it was from a bottle! Told them to check out Bare Minerals website to find it. I always exfoliate first, use a good moisturizer, put on latex gloves and apply the tanner. It dries quickly and smells so much better than the others I've used. You won't go wrong with this tanner!!
