Hunter got it right!

I have athletic calves, and regular hunters were just a little too small in circumference, however, I don't have cankles, so the huntress boots were not an option either. Finally, Hunter created a solution for us girls with normal girl legs! Best wellies I've ever owned and looking forward to wearing them all spring.

I have almost 17 inch calves. The original boots are too tight across the top. The huntress boot fits but looks frumpy and has a shorter height. These are perfect. Fits great with skinny jeans or leggings. I even need to tighten them up a bit in the back.

No Question - Expandable Is the Way to Go!

Was so excited to receive this boot!

I had tried the regular (non-adjustable) hunter's and while they fit I was worried I wouldn't be able to wear with jeans or the thick socks. I tried the Huntress and like other reviewers said they were SO big and awkward in the ankles and, in my opinion, did not add much width at the calf. The adjustable were sold out for a while, but I stumbled upon them when they were in stock and couldn't be happier. They fit over jeans and wide socks (even at their smallest expansion, and are great in the ankles! Wore them last week in a foot of snow and stayed dry and (with the socks) warm! I was bummed the expandable option didn't come in glossy, but the matte looks great.

Totally recommend this for people, most of my friends who have the regular wish they had gotten these just to have a more roomy look with jeans and socks!

Prosversatile!

These boots areas comfortable and when worn with the wellys in cold weather, are super warm! Love them!
