Prosperfect fit!!
These hunters are exactly what you need if the regulars are too tight around the calves. I have always had a problem but these extend as big or tight as you want them. GREAT PURCHASE!

The Perfect Rain boot!

Prosgreat style!
I searched high and low for a rain boot that would fit over my calf. I tried the original Hunter boots but could not get them on. I then read the reviews about the Huntress model which said that they fit over your calf but are big in the foot area and shorter than the normal boot. I then found this model - Hunter's Adjustable back boot. First let me say, they fit perfectly!! I purchased the dark green boot with purple trim (on the back part that adjusts). They are adorable and the back strap is adjustable and looks very cute on the boot. It works very well - style and functionality! Great job Hunter!! I was about ready to give up on the boot when I found this one!! The sizing is the same as the other boots. I wear a 7 1/2 shoe and ordered a 7 boot. Thank you Hunter!!

So happy with my new Hunter adjustable back boot. I've owned cheaper rain boots which were stiff and uncomfortable and always had to get them low cut to accomodate my wide calf. These adjustable boots work great over my calf and they are so soft and supple, with a nice fabric lining that feels good with or without socks. Bring on the rain! I am a 9 - 9.5 shoe size, so I ordered down to 9 as advised and they are just right.
I was on the hunt for a comfortable rain boot for my granny-nanny lifestyle. I have calves that measure a quarter of an inch bigger than the standard Hunter boot, so the *wide calf* was may only tall boot option. These fit great, are comfortable, but I really wanted a gloss in a cute color, so I also ordered the Huntress in the wide calf version to try. Sadly 2" is allot in shaft height, and they looked dumpy. I am keeping these and pretending I just came for mucking out the stalls. I am sure I will get many years of dry feet and legs from these utilitarian boots. I also got Fleece Welly Socks, for those cold and wet days.
