After buying these same boots last year and sadly returning them ,I felt the the utter desire to buy these boots again this year. I thought about them many times during the year.My return last year was a mixture of overspending before the holidays and I felt maybe I was spending too much.I begrudgingly send them bad. They are a bit pricy but I can tell you ,worth every penny! This year ,I was more than pleasantly surprised to see Norstrom's carrying these beauties once again. I could not wait for them to arrive to my home. I purchased these in a blackish / brownish mix as ,last year I picked up the black. First of all this color is amazing . Love the various tones that have a perfect blend. Not really a black , more of a deep rich saturated brownish tinged with a dark greenish blend with a black antiqued black wash. This coloration is amazing and have the versatility to go with most anything I did buy them in my regular size and most likely could have sized down a bit but, nothing a heavy sock won't take care of. They are first of all so comfortable on and give me the feeling of having some kind of couture type of boot once on your feet.You can "play "with them a bit and fold the tops down to change up the look. They are sexy and yet playful . They make your legs go on forever and look great with just about everything. I cannot believe these are cold weather boots on top of it all. They are very comfortable and I am not much of a heel person. You don't really notice the height of the heel at all. They just give you that bit of stylish flare while being functional.Rarely does a cold weather boot have all that. Most are mundane or just functional. The detailing on these are wonderful and I especially love the way the leather wraps the heel so smoothly.
I am so glad these boots were brought back this year and will not be returning them this year. They are here to stay as ,I am so happy with them and cannot wait to get so much use out of them. I know they will be what I reach for time and again this winter. Love love my "Joan of Arc" wedge booties. If you are searching for the holy grail of winter booties you have found them with these wonderful boots. Great purchase ! Do not hesitate on grabbing these . They are worth the investment.

Proscomfortable, stylish
I ordered half size down based on reviews and it was perfect. Comfortable from the first wear and throughout long walks. Lightweight and stylish. Worn them with jeans and leggings and received tons of compliments. Highly recommend.

Perfect Casual Boot

Proscomfortable
Best boot purchase I have made in years! These boots are comfortable, easy to put on & take off (only 3 lace eyelets) & the perfect height for my longer jeans. I ordered a half size smaller than my usual size because of other reviews and they fit perfectly. I ordered the black and they are definitely dark brown but I still love them.

Prosstylish comfy
Very comfortable and stylish! I wore them all weekend at a motocross track that was very wet, very muddy and they performed perfectly. I can't get over how comfortable the wedge was!
