This boot completely combines function and comfort with winter style. They are incredibly comfortable with light padding and arch support. I have walked for hours in NYC in these with no issues with the wedge height or any rubbing etc. The wedge provides height and style often missing from most winter boots. They definitely run large. I am a very standard 6.5. I order the 6 and they fit with room. HIGHLY recommended. The black color is a matte finished true black leather.
These shoes are chic and comfortable even with the wedge. They fit true to size for me (size 10) and i actually had to return the first 9.5 pair i bought. But overall im very pleased. This is as sexy as winter boots can get!!
Very comfortable wedge. Perfect for less than perfect days. Great traction and plenty of room if you plan to wear a thicker wool sock. Pricey but worth it.
