Disappointed but still love them

Don't get me wrong, I mostly love these boots. There are just a couple things about them that do NOT make them worth the price. They are mostly comfy but they aren't made for girls with high arches. The seam that attaches the tongue to the toe box hits just under one of the D-rings so it digs into the top of my foot. Also, no one at Sorel (or anywhere else,) can tell me how to care for these. The toes have scuffed and there are divots in them but I don't know how to "polish" this brushed leather. The fabric is cool looking but not very tough. Kinda bummed but still wearing them! I hope they last a while though, and I'm not convinced they will.

Perfect all weather boots

I live in Portland, OR so I was looking for a solid walking boot that can stand up to plenty of rain and mud. I also have soccer player calves so most tall boots don't work for me, but these are just the right height. On top of that, I love the way they lace up, they emphasize my small ankles but allow for the dramatic curve of my calves.
They are easy to wear regularly and I walk .5 - 1 mile to get to class, then another .5 - 1 mile to get to work, etc. ad nauseum all day. In other words, I am taking fairly brief walks repeatedly throughout the day and my feet don't hurt. I am probably going to get these boots in other colors and stock up :)
