Love!
PostedOctober 3, 2015
I bought these boots last winter for the style and tread. These are the best of all worlds; fashionable, comfortable and good traction on slippery surfaces. I wore these almost every day and even in the summer for riding motorcycle. By far one of my best and most used purchases!

They do run big.
PostedSeptember 28, 2015
Pro: I got the black at first, then I returned them and got the grill. I love how they looked in both colors and they tie so quick and easy which I love when putting on and off. The traction they provide is second to none. The best I've tried by far, hands down. Am feeling confident about not slipping and sliding all over campus this winter.
Cons: Ahh, I wear an 11, maybe in some cases a 10.5 but figured even though others have reported these running big, thick socks would do the job. I ordered them in an 11, and they were too big - to the point it felt wrong, even if I didn't trip or anything.
So I returned them and reordered them in a 10. I received them and they are a bit too snug. I am keeping them, though, but they start to feel a little uncomfortable after several hours. I don't think I can wear a thick sock, but a regular one is ok. They aren't so tight that I would avoid wearing them, so I will keep them. But I am a bit bummed that they won't be the staple I hoped. I do recommend you try them, but beware of the shipping - returning them was kinda costly - then reordering, so it racks up a bit. I ordered 2 other styles in an 11 and they fit to perfection, so it's just this style out of the 3 I ordered.

Love this boot
PostedSeptember 24, 2015
I bought this boot because I had purchased the Joan of Arctic tall wedge boot in Hawk and LOVED it so much that I wanted to get them in black...and they were sold out. So I opted for the short version, and have been super happy with them - perfect for everyday outdoor wear, around town, and inclement weather days. Very, very comfortable. I typically wear a 7.5 but bought these in 7.0 and they fit wonderfully.

lasting comfort
PostedSeptember 23, 2015
I had been eyeing this boots for quite some time and read extensive reviews on several websites. I finally pulled the trigger and am hooked. These boots have been perfect for my trip to Switzerland. I have logged many miles in the towns of Bern, Gruyere, Lucerne, Thun, Zermatt and Wengen in these boots this September. These boots are waterproof (awesome since it has been raining on and off), their soles grip well on the slick cobblestone streets and the comfort-factor is a dream. I can either wear them with my bootcut jeans or tuck my skinny jeans into them and they keep me above the puddles in the streets. The wedge height may look intimidating, however with the thick sole, the heel itself isn't that much steeper than the front of the shoe and I haven't had any problems keeping my balance on the many boats, trains and buses I have taken. The boots are roomy, but I still marked them true to size since if you wear a typical "fall" or "winter" sock with them they fit just right. I like these boots so much that I just bought its taller "cousin", the Cate the Great Wedge.
