I loved these boots but hadn't read the reviews which meant my returning to the store twice. I am a size 10. They were HUGE. Went back and got a 9.5 and walked around my house in them. My heel kept slipping out of them. Finally went back and got a 9 and am delighted. I can't wait to go to England for the holidays where I will probably wear them daily.

This boot looked exactly as I expected after seeing it online. It's very comfortable and is "quiet" when walking--no clicking or heavy sole.

Overall a top quality product however...
These boots were for my Wife. She usually wears a 10 or 11 boot so we went with the 11 to allow for some heavy wool socks. She couldn't even begin to get her foot into the top of the boot. The views in the catalog images lead you to believe that there is an elastic "expansion" fitting at the top. This is all but non-functional and didn't help at all. The return process was simple and painless.
