Constoo greasy, doesn't absorb well
I have been using Kiehls for over 25 years and this is only the 2nd negative review I have given a Kiehls product. This stuff is too greasy and does not penetrate my skin so my face looks oily after iI put it on. It kind of feels like half the product is sitting on my face and the other half got absorbed. I was going to make do but found a little left of the moisturizer I usually use - Facial Fuel Anti-Wrinkle in the light blue jar - and remembered how much better that moisturizer is, so I took this back. I love that fact that they were so friendly about returns.

This heavy lifting moisturizer did exactly the opposite for me. It's too thick and made my face feel heavy.Going back to the Facial Fuel Anti-Wrinkle Cream, which is a far superior product.

After a few weeks of using every night I did notice some small lines appeared less visible and the product does moisturize extremely well. Only drawback is the scent is not so great and it's very strong. If the scent were more like the facial fuel moisturizer it would be much better.

Fails to Absorb/Penetrate

ConsPerformance, Too Thick, does not absorb into the skin
This product is exactly like Facial Fuel in that it fails to fully penetrate into the skin. After about 10-15 minutes, the unabsorbed product flakes off onto one's clothing or congeals into sticky ropes on the face, necessitating an additional cleaning of the face to remove the product. The Heavy Lifting Moisturizer is ANOTHER disappointing product from Kiehl's. My bathroom is quickly becoming a cemetery of near full tubes, jars, and bottles of Kiehl's products. It's sad too, because I really want to like this company's products.
