When these first came out, my first thought was, "who would pay $300 for a pair of overpriced rain boots?" But only when it was nearly sold out did I want my own. I'm usually between a size 6 or 6.5 depending on the brand (6.5 in the harrow bootie), and the size 6 fit well. I really like the black but am also waiting for the dark red to ship. My favorite part of the boot is the zipper. Why other rain boots have not used a zipper is beyond me. I have more athletic calves and hate trying to pull rubber boots on and off, so I love the zipper. So much so that I really may be willing to pay its hefty price..

I tried these on in store because the shaft was listed as wider than the Hunter tall by 1 1/4". They were marginally narrower but enough that I chose the Hunter originals instead.
