I was looking for a nice looking black leather comfort shoe to wear with casual dress pants for work since my feet can't deal with heels. These black silk leather Mephisto's are really comfortable and stylish. I have narrow feet so used some green spenco insoles along with the 3/4 superfeet insoles for flat shoes and they fit great. Love the velco to snug them up!
Extremely comfortable. Can't wait to wear them while touring Europe soon. I purchased in black leather. (I didn't want suede to get ruined if it rained). I'd rather wear this style than an ugly athletic shoe. The shoe can go from day-touring to dinner at a nice restaurant. This style is also convenient especially for some European hotels that don't allow "trainers" in the lobby. Also, the velcro strap makes it easier to go through security at the airports.
I love my Mephisto sandals and am now looking for the same great support in a pair of shoes. I thought these shoes might do the trick. The heels on these shoes provide great support; however, I found little padding under the balls of my feet. Too bad.

Prosvery comfortable, good looking, stylish, safe and secure, timeless
My first time to buy and enjoy this most comfortable, good looking, stylish "sneaker!" Yes, I forget it's a sneaker, but as a sneaker it provides good arch and ankle support, and I feel safe walking on any surface. I purchased these at 60% off full price and even at that price, these are way above my average shoe purchase range. But these are quality shoes that should last a dozen years or more, and the style is timeless.
