Even though built in the DR, this new shoe is great looking on the golf course. I ordered my normal size of 10D, but the shoe was tight and seemed much narrower than normal. I returned (no hassles of course) and was promptly shipped a size 10 1/2 D replacement. It fits great and has average stiffness which will mean a 1/2 dozen wears until broken in. I look forward to putting in the orange laces (ordered brown shoes) for a nice contrast. By the way, the brown has a nice luster and looks great!

Not quite what I expected!

This golf shoe feels like a regular fitted shoe... It does not fit like a footjoy.. what I mean is it doesn't fit like a "glove".. It feels like the construction of a shoe that you have to give "break in" time for it to feel better. I have worn them for two outings of 9 holes on separate days. Still waiting for the comfortable feel...

Fantastic Shoe - I'm not a golfer

I have the brown leather and it reminds me of an expensive horseback saddle my uncle had - beautiful!
I don't play golf. This shoe interested me because of the classy lines and quality leather both inside and out. I wanted a nice dressy shoe for work that I can wear when it is rainy outside. The sole seems like it will provide good traction on rainy sidewalks - my only concern is that the sole will not hold up well to sidewalk walking. I hope it doesn't wear out quickly. Time will tell. I'll try to not wear them on non-rainy days, but it is hard b/c they are such cool looking shoes.
They are breaking in nicely and the leather seems to look even better now that I've worn them many days over the last couple weeks. I really dig these shoes and have gotten complements as well.

Clean look, no advertising on shoe

I just love the look of these as I look down at my feet. The insoles are nice and padded, and there's no logos or advertising except on the bottom sole. Makes people come up and ask you what kind of shoes you have and its nice to tell em "Allen Edmonds".
