I had "another brand" pair of hidden wedge sneakers already and I found them a practical mix of style and comfort. Then I came across these on line and had to order a pair in black.
They felt lower than the 2" wedge in my other sneakers, but I measured them #managed to work out where the wedge came to# and the Puma's wedge is actually 3" high in my size 9.5. #I guess smaller sizes will be lower.#
I love the way they look more like a regular hi-top than most of the other hidden wedge sneakers #Puma have done their own thing, rather than copied everyone else# but it is the comfort that really suprised me! After half an hour in them, you forget they are even wedges - they are as comfortable as any regular "flat" sneakers and give excellent arch support. I can wear them all day, including lots of walking, with no issues. I even wear them waitressing now!
I've had them a couple of months now and I wear them more than any other footwear I have. Mainly just cuz they are so darn comfortable, bur also cuz they just look good with just about anything - from skinny's to a skater dress #in the summer I will rock them with a cute flowy summer dress#.
If Puma can get the comfort this good, I would like to see them do a higher #4" ?# version in future. Right now I've got my eye on their new Sky Wedge Sneakers.

I wasn't sure about the wedge when I first learned Puma was coming out with one. But I'm super happy these "look" like sneakers. I wear sneakers because I like sneakers - I don't want a shoe that looks like a sneaker put on top of a heel. So the look of these is great. When I received them I put them on immediately and loved how they felt. I walked around for awhile and had no issues. They are comfy just like a sneaker. They do run a tad large so I suggest thicker socks so your feet don't slide around.
They do grab people's attention and are a statement shoe. I think you'll see more wedges in the future and no one designs them like Puma!

I got this shoe today and had to put it to the test! Although, one shoe did have creases on the toes already >:-( I love them! Very comfortable and light. I was kind of iffy because I had to get the 7 1/2 but it worker out okay too. I'm a wide width so I'm extra happy my feet didn't feel like they were in a pain at all. The only thing I'm sad about is that they only have them in orange or white. I would buy more pairs if they were in other colors or shades.
