Extremely versatile shoe

I recently exchanged my pair of Long Branches for the Mora 2.0 in brown. This is now one of my favorite pair of shoes next to the Walnut Strands. However, in my opinion, the Mora 2.0 are much more versatile and work with more outfits. Jeans, chinos, cords and wool all work wonderfully with the double monks. This shoe has you covered from working in the office all day or going out for drinks with the boys. My only complaint is the shoe fits loser than usual (it is a loafer)and is squeakier than others but not enough that I notice or care. If you don't have a pair of double monks I highly recommend these.

I purchased these in black and get compliments every time I wear them. I find the park avenue shoes more comfortable due to he strap rubbing the top of my foot, but not to a point where I've been uncomfortable. No issues with the finish in black, and have not noticed an issue with the quality.

I am surprised about the hit or miss reviews. I would agree that the finish on this shoe has a little more variation than the typical AE dress shoe, but I suspect this may be intentional. I have noticed, as another review mentioned, that the shoe (mine in Bourbon) tends to show scratches more than my other shoes (e.g., bourbon Dalton), but they polish away easily so I do not find this too much of an issue. I did do a custom order with a Dainite sole and feel this looks great with this shoe. Also, I have not had any issues with the creasing mentioned in many reviews.
