Hurt my feet

Purchased a pair of these second hand (worn once) and assumed they would fit like my Delrays built on the same last. Leather is still stiff after 2 months of fairly regular wear and the shoes feel much tighter than the Delrays - not good for walking. Straps create pressure points on the top of my right foot which feels bruised at the end of a day of wearing. They have improved since I first got them so I am still hoping they break in a bit more but I would not buy these again.

Poor sizing

These shoes immediately creased above the toe. I bought EEE and they are very painful to walk in. They don't break in because they are way too narrow. Maybe good for the office, but forget about the commute. Very painful experience. Lesson learned.

Not the same quality as my other Allen Edmons

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own several pairs of Allen Edmonds and am a huge fan of the brand. I've owned these shoes for over a year, and they are my least worn pair. First, these shoes are really noisy - something that I have not noticed with my other pairs. There's something about the leather panel of the monk strap that rubs on the inside tongue. I've tried to polish the shoes, use Allen Edmonds shoe lotion, talc, etc. but these shoes continue to "squeek," even after several months of breaking in. In a quiet office setting, you will certainly not be able to be a ninja.
The other issue with these shoes it that they crease across the cap toe, as other reviewers mentioned. To me, it just doesn't look good, and my other cap toe Allen Edmonds had not done the same thing. You may think this is a fitment issue, but spent time at the store being fitted for these shoes.

This is my forth pair of AE shoes. Stitching around the top of the shoe isn't perfect and rough edged. And leather is too soft. I should have checked, when I bought this.
