Creased toe

The shoe is beautifully made when first arrived. Not the most comfortable pair of AEs I've had but that I can live with since this more of an occasion type of shoe and I own 3 other pairs for daily use. But after the 2nd wear, the toe started creasing. I've read about this before so it's definition something design related with this model.

Our shoes are constructed on a variety of lasts, each with unique fit characteristics. Discomfort is most often an indication of an improper fit. Keep in mind also that, it's normal for leather to crease. The pattern of the shoe as well as the contours of your foot will cause a shoe to flex in different areas. Not like the "olden days..."

Bought 10-15 pair of AE shoes since 1985. Last pair before the Mora probably 2012. Stitching around the top of the shoe isn't "perfect" and the quality just isn't as good as it used to be. Still have several 20 year old AE shoes. Not like there's a lot of choice at size 13-14B.

Great shoe from a great company!

This is my second pair of Allen Edmonds shoes, and they've quickly become a staple in my wardrobe. They're comfortable and well-made, and I always feel my best when I'm wearing them. And to top it all off, Allen Edmonds is a great brand with quick shipping and excellent customer service. I will certainly be shopping here again soon!
