Warm and lightweight

Just spent a week in Montreal over Christmas. It was freezing and snowing and my feet were kept warm and dry with the Tofino boot. Could walk for a long time in comfort and very stylish too.

Cold Feet

I am in the process of returning the boots. I was under the impression that they would keep my feet warm, but was very disappointed to have my feet with 2 pairs of socks still be very cold. My son, has purchased a pair of Sorel Boots with insulation & was very satisfied & his feet were warm. I was mislead with them being water proof (which they were), but not warm at all.

Someone took the box off of our porch before my girls could wear their boots. We are very disappointed, but Sorel is going to refund our money, and my girls can pick out new boots. They have never had nice good quality boots, this would have been the first time, and they are 15 and 17 yrs old. Very sad that someone would take them, especially since it was a Christmas present. I have a pair of Sorel boot from a previous purchase two years ago, and I love them.

Great boots

Bought these for my daughter for Christmas. She goes to college in Idaho and we live in southeast Texas, so big climate change. After her first year there she knew she wanted some much warmer boots. She loves these. They are warm but also much more fashionable than so many snow boots -- a combination of army boot with snow boot with traction. They seem to be good quality -- time and wear and tear will tell, of course, but initial impression is favorable. She asked for a 10-1/2, which is a bit bigger than her usual size but she finds so many boots run small that she figured that would allow room. However, when I went to order there were no 10-1/2s left so I took a chance on the 10s. Fortunately, they seem to fit perfectly, so I'd say they run true to size. The only down side to my order was that they took a very long time to arrive. I ordered them at least 3 weeks before Christmas and I was starting to get worried that they wouldn't arrive in time when they finally showed up.
