Yes, but...

Just as the description claims, these boots are cozy warm and keep all wet out. They fit comfortably and are true to size. They are cute as can be. I purposely wanted Sorels that could meet my needs in the rough Wisconsin winters, look fashionably decent (I get compliments all the time) plus I didn't want them too heavy to drag me down with every step. These boots answered my need in every respect and I loved them immediately. But...I was so disappointed on the third day when I pulled them on and the pull tab ripped right off of one of the boots. With the quality and reputation I expect from Sorel (and the price paid) I did not expect a defect like that. I did not return them because I did not want to be without boots in the throws of winter in Wisconsin and I did not want the return expense.

This boot is an excellent fit and very secure. I love everything about it except the fur trim. I have a co-worker with the exact same pair except her fur trim was lighter in color without stripes, as advertised in the photo of the item I ordered. My boots have a darker, striped faux fur which looks cheaper. I was disappointed when I saw it. I almost sent the boots back because of this, but alas, a snowstorm hit so I had no choice but to keep them.

High expectations

I had pretty high expectations of this brand. I hadn't bought a new pair of Sorel boots in quite some time and was hopeful that the quality was still there. Lucky for me, it was. I think the boot is perfect and has done exactly what I needed. Keeps my feet warm, dry and secure in every step.

Better than Rain Boots

I live in Oregon, where it typically doesn't fall below freezing, but this winter has been especially cold for the area, and my rain boots, even with the warmest socks, froze my toes!
I wanted something with style that would keep my feet warm, but in the Pacific Northwest, my winter shoe requirement is they have to keep my feet DRY too.
I love these. I'm outside everyday in the mud and the rain and these wipe off easily and meet all my requirements, including style. Let's not fool ourselves, ladies. We all want function AND fashion!
