Practical and Stylish
PostedDecember 18, 2013
Very happy with my first pair of Sorel boots!
Pleasantly surprised how warm, waterproof, comfortable and lightweight they were after hours of walking though 6-8inch snow several days in a row. I used very thick socks and they were cozy in sub zero temps (but not sure how warm they would be @ the rating of -20F!) Seemed to have good traction, but was not on a lot of ice. Did not use yet in heavy slush.
Wiped clean with damp cloth. The fluff on top sheds a bit.
I wear a 7 or 7.5 and found the 7.5 to be a good length. I have slim feet and use thick socks, but those with a wide foot might find the forefoot just a bit snug with extra thick socks. Light weight and not too bulky for driving.
Overall, a nice combination: practical for active wear in cold, snowy winters with enough style so you don't feel like you are wearing ugly clunkers!

Awesome Boots!

These are a great pair of boots. They keep my feet very warm and dry, and my feet stay comfortable even after wearing them all day. The sides and back bend a little funny after wearing them for a really long time, but not very much and it's not obvious. Definitely worth it, I'll be wearing these for years to come!

Love them!
PostedDecember 16, 2013
This is my first pair of Sorels. I love the way they look, such cute snow boots! Only issue was the sizing... I am usually between a 7 and an 8. According to Sorel's sizing chart, I am a 7. So I bought a 7.5 to be on the safe side and have a little extra room. When I tried them on they were a snug and my toes were hitting the front. I am exchanging them for an 8. If you are between sizes definitely go up!
