Good and Bad

I ordered these boots for winter. I live in ND so I was looking for something warm that would work for me in the snow and ice.
The good is that these boots are very fashionable and met my expectations for winter boots that look great. They also are very warm and run true to size.
The bad is that the fur inside sheds and gets all over everything, so can't wear black or any dark color until they hopefully stop shedding. Otherwise, there's pieces of fur everywhere. And although the sole is a heavy rubber and has treads they don't work very well on ice. In our first ice storm, I did a lot of slipping and sliding.
Overall they are a very nice, comfortable and warm boot and plan to wear them a lot in the snow, but if there's too much ice, I'll have to rely on something else.

Great winter boots!

I bought these as part of an outfit for winter engagement pictures and they were exactly what I was hoping for! They keep your feet warm, and look great! I was unsure about the quilted look, but it adds the perfect subtle texture to the boot.

I bought these on an end-of-season sale last year and wore them for the first time today and yesterday. On the plus side, they are incredibly cozy and pretty comfortable, and of course, look great.
On the negative: they are like ice skates on tile. I've particularly found them bad on NYC subway station flooring - to the point where I had to hold onto a railing on a ramp and creep down as though I were on skates, because I kept slipping. I'm hoping they will wear in a bit because this is a major functional problem in the winter!!

AWESOME Boots

It's my first time buying Sorel boots, I read the reviews online and I had not doubt that I would love it, but I don't' think I fulling understand why people love them so much until I actually got it and tried them on!! I love them, and I'm pretty sure I'll be buying another (few pairs soon!!
